Linux Access point

Hey people,

I'm looking for some guidance on building an access point
from my gateway.

I have a RedHat 7.2 box that has my net connection servicing
the LAN with NAT, and I want to set up an 802.11b wireless
network access point on it.

Can you wireless guru's, please point me in the right direction
for getting the right hardware, and some kind of reference docs
that I should look at for instructions on how to go about setting
up the access point?
