smbfs directory entries missing

Hi!
It seems I have the same problem as in
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/9603.1/0579.html

Sequential "ls" returns different results:

What is wrong?

PS. I have the same problem with SuSE 7.2 and Samba 2.2.8a
