I installed Samba 2.2.5 out of the box from the Linux distribution SuSE
Professional 8.1. The latest patches are installed, as provided by SuSE.

I have the following problem:
I can use file sharing with Windows 2000 SP4 and latest hotfixes. But on
Windows 98 with all updates installed I can't connect to shares and I
can't see even the Samba server. I just get an error message, that
Windows 98 can't find the share itself.

My configuration is as follows:

I tried to find some information on my problem on the Internet but
wasn't lucky. So I'm trying this way.

Thanx for any help
Werner
