[Samba] Mount NFS export over the Internet and export locally using Samba?

I use:

a) for a full 'internet' site, i've loaded a nextcloud instance and
 using 'external storage' feature for CIFS, i reshare samba with
nextcloud; the only drawback is that you cannot with CIFS 'share' files
with nextcloud, AFAIK.

b) for a two sites conf, where there's a stable link between them
 (VPN/MPLS), i've setup glusterfs.
