I use extensively Thunderbird with local folders in a CSC-enabled
share, and apart some sporadic locking troubles, that auto-cleanup on a
reboot, all works as expected.


A simpler question: there's some way for Samba to privilege files
against folder in name clashes?

Eg, seems to me that actually if a file and a filder with the same name
get created, samba prefere the folder. Can i instruct samba to prefere
the file?
