I upload all of my screenshots on the steps I followed to smallpdf.com and combine all these screenshots into a PDF, for my easy reference.

I usually screenshot the original guide after I have followed through all the steps in the guide. Next time I will remind myself to screenshot the original guide first before I start to follow through all of the steps.

LOL.

I think most people usually read through the first few and last few pages.

I am not a Linux expert and I am not very familiar with the sed commands and regular expressions 😊

But I did realize that Louis has created a problem for me in his entire guide. It is the following line:

include \"/var/lib/samba/bind-dns/named.conf\";" >> /etc/bind/named.conf.local

The slash "\" must not be used in /etc/bind/named.conf.local. Otherwise, BIND9 DNS server will not start.
