You could try adding something like this near to the top of
dhcp-dyndns.sh:

TTL=$(cat /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf | grep 'max-lease-time' | awk -F ';'
'{print $1}' | awk '{print $NF}')

Then replace the '3600' with '$TTL'
