Minor correction:  I reported this issue in the #samba IRC channel on
Freenode. I am not sure if I ever reported it here.  My limited
searching seems to indicate I have not.

Apologies for the incorrect info.

But my smbd processes crashing/core dumping problem does still exist. :)
