[Samba] Samba Registry Configuration- Cannot open smbconf

I had a similar problem - if I recall it correctly the account used
to connect via regedit.exe needs to have special privileges in order
do change (and read?) the config:

Just try this:
net rpc grant rights <username> SeDiskOperatorPrivilege
