The earlier comment actually was very accurate. If I get a "winbind doesn't
work" post then I tend to ignore it. If I get a "winbindd does *this* when
I do this and by the way I also tested it without my 100,000 line scripted
ldap setup on a basic smbpasswd style setup and it still does this" sort
of question I'm much more likely to work on it.

It's a matter of efficiency against number of requests for help. The 
second reporter is much more likely to be easy to work with and to
help reproduce the problem easily and so get something fixed if it's
wrong. The first poster is more likely to have made a config error,
and I could spend all day every day (and nights too :-) fixing those.

Samba is a lot more popular than it used to be :-).
