Hello sambers
I have Samba 2.2.8a installed and I am able to map a drive on WinXP to
my linux home directory when I am connected to my lan and I am able to
connect to
my linux home directory via WindowsXP when i'm outside the lan, but its
mix with
other empolyees when they connect from outside the lan. Some employees are
able to connect from outside and some are not able to connect.
I know one thing could be ISP filtering, most ISPs don't filter (??).
Has anybody
ran into this situation? Could it be that the ISP that my Samba server
is on is Verizon and that all the people that have Verizon for an ISP
are able to connect?
I have a simple configuration ...
[global]
workgroup = Aeronet
netbios name = Hornet
server string = Windows File Server
encrypt passwords = yes
[homes]
guest ok = no
read only = no
Thanks
Matias
