[Samba] smbmount/smbclient and Kanji

Hello,

I have a problem trying to access a file with a Japanese Kanji name on a
remote SMB share.
When I smbmount the share the file name contains '?' symbols instead of
Kanji characters.
When using smbclient it seems to work OK and I can see the symbols in the
filename using ls.
What I need is to be able to access the file from a mounted filesystem.

Any idea why this works OK using smbclient but not smbmount?

I'm using samba 3.00 RC3.
