Hello,

i have this problem again.
I have samba logs, from log.smbd, inside my Wordperfect-Document:

[2003/09/09 16:42:33, 2] smbd/close.c:close_normal_file(229)
   markus closed file SftemBASIC/Testprogramme/2.9_Structure.b~RFf12cf7.TMP
(numopen=4)
[2003/09/09 16:42:33, 2] smbd/open.c:open_file(246)
   markus opened file SftemBASIC/test/m3/M3/workbench/EMBWorkBench.exe read=Yes
write=No (numopen=5)
[2003/09/09 16:42:33, 2] smbd/close.c:close_normal_file(229)
   markus closed file SftemBASIC/test/m3/M3/workbench/EMBWorkBench.exe (numopen=4)
  ä < ” ì D œ ô L
 ¤/ ÓÔ2 ÔÔ3

  ÔÓ

The last 3 Lines are the Wordperfect lines. This is right, the samba logs before
are wrong.

The oplocks are now set to yes. This wasn't the error.
This time the database, see below, was not running on my Windows XP.

Here some informations:
Samba-Server:
  - Debian Woody
  - Samba 2.2.8a-0.1 for Debian
  - Software Raid (Raid1) with two identically Seagate 80GB HDDs
  Hardware:
  - Compaq ML310 (P4 2GHZ, 256MB)
  - Sil0649CL160 ATA100-Controller (used driver: CMD64x)
  - HDDs connectet both as Master (hda, hdc)

Client:
  - Compaq Evo D310vm (Cel 1,8GHz)
  - Windows XP SP1
  - Wordperfect 9

I have tried to use Samba 3.0R3, but it have problems with german Characters
(like üöä).
And i can't reproduce this error :-(

Can anyone please help ??
I don't know what to do now ...

Thank you very, very much !!!

(And sorry for this english)
