[Samba] Help: can't get winbindd working ?

Here's my advice, don't take it as biblical.

Change that winbind uid to 10000-20000, not 2000.. that may be the key..

Also, I use wins, and have it specified in the smb.conf file to point to
my wins server.. that helps a lot of resolution issues.
