[Samba] Frustrated

I installed RH 9 and am attempting to access the printer connected to the
box from my Windows XP system. I can print locally on the printer from
linux and I can connct to it via IPP from the Windows box as well, but not
via the normal //server/shared_printer_name convention of Windows/Samba.

I do not know what I am doing wrong. I was initially getting 'unable to
locate passdb database' in the logfile for the Windows machine in the
/var/log/samba directory, but now that I have created the smbpasswd file as
detailed in the RH documentation online, I get an error that says Windows
cannot connect to the printer because either 1) the name was typed
inforrectly (Panasonic_KX-P4410) or that 2) the specified printer had lost
its connection from the server.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm most likely missing something obvious,
but you never know.

Thanks.
