[Samba] Installing Samba on AIX

Hi,
 
I'm installing Samba version 2.2.7.0 using smit install.  Smit installs everything but doesn't create a /usr/local/samba dir.  All the samba files are located in /usr/local/bin.  But when I try to test my setup and so smbpasswd, it wants to look for everything in /usr/local/samba dir.
 
Should I just create a /usr/local/samba dir and copy all the samba files from bin to the respective samba dir?
