[Samba] Samba & Large Partition sizes (> 2 TB) on 2.4 kernel

Hi,

We are thinking about creating a Samba fileserver with lot's of storage for
archiving purposes (4 TB growing to 8 TB in the coming year)
We know about the block size limit of 2 TB , so we will be using lvm +
reiserfs or ext3fs (reiserfs supports partitions up to 16 TB)
Does Samba support these kind of sizes ?

Any advise / information would be greatly appreciated !
Anyone who has tried this before ?
