[Samba] Win98 problem, but not 2000/XP

gary,

do the following;

1. check the permissions on the actual folders on the Linux machine....
2. create mask =0777 , directory mask=0777 opens up the whole lot to 
everyone... also there are options such as force etc,etc...but i would start 
with no.1
