[Samba] smbtorture??

I want to see how fast my Samba server is.

I found smbtorture at http://dp.samba.org/ftp/tridge/dbench/

It looks like it might be and old version (1999).

Anyway, I have 2 Linux boxes.  One with Samba, one with smbtorture.

It runs, but it gives me a speed of almost 300 MB/sec.

I only have a 100 mbit/sec NIC, so I know this is wrong.

Is there a newer version, and maybe some better instructions than the readme at =
the above site?
