Not (currently) with samba AFAIK, since the kernel doesn't support
packet writing yet. You should look at webCDwriter:

We use it very successfully, we (about 60 users total) have written over
133GB on 400CDs in less that 2 years on one really old machine.

Maybe this needs to be an FAQ??
