[Samba] printer status w2K / cups

If you're running under Gentoo, there have been issues getting CUPS 1.1.15
to work properly.  Can you print from the Samba server directly without
problems?

The next thing I would check is to make sure that you have 'printcap name =
cups' in your smb.conf in addition to 'printing = cups'.

Did ./configure find the cups libraries when you compiled Samba?
