Hello,

Have you seen the "Samba 2.2 PDC HowTo"?

Check it out :
http://us4.samba.org/samba/ftp/docs/htmldocs/samba-pdc-howto.html

It clearly states what Samba can and cannot do as a PDC, and has example
startup scripts and an example config file.

It's pretty much a step-by-step guide, if you run into problems this
list is a good place to ask questions.

There's an email address at the top of the document for "comments,
corrections and additions" too.

Hope that helps,
Rob Helmer

Is it possible to provide me with some documentation as to how to configure my server to be a PDC compared to Windows 2000 Advanced Server? I am having a hard time understanding samba because of how easy it is to do this in 2000. If you could compare the 2000 server install to how Samba does it in the documentation, new Linux users would appreciate it more and feel more comfortable with do it.
