saving office 97 documents

Hi,

I hava samba 2.0.6 installed on a Linux machine. Some PCs are working
with a shared on this Linux. From some of them, people can work with
Word documents without problems; but from other PCs they can not make
any change but they can copy new documents . When they try to save or
indeed open the documents, we get this in the log

At opening:

[2001/10/10 12:11:18, 1] smbd/reply.c:reply_sesssetup_and_X(909)
  Rejecting user 'e-bank': authentication failed
***but it opens the document****

When we try to save:

I don't know if it is because a different Office 97 configuration or
another system thing.

Can anybody help me?
