Davide:
i never used winbind. i tell my situation.
i have a NT PDC and a samba PDC. the samba PDC controls 80% of the users and
NT PDC controls 20%. the samba PDC acts like it is.. i mean file and ptrint
services, profiles, etc. but the NT PDC only serving and SQL server for an
app..
then only 20% of the machines of my LAN use the NT PDC to logs in because
the SQL app use the credentials of the NT..
i want to that 20% of the machines (after login in the nt) could use the
shares of my samba PDC.
solution 1) supose that i know the pass and users in the NT then i can
create the same users/pass combination in my samba and all works, but the
problem is that i don´t know the pass...
2) ?????
thx!
