Dear All,
We are using Samba 2.0.6 on one of our SUN machines (Sparc architecture
running Solaris 2.6), file systems are exported to be mounted on Win NT
Terminal Server with service pack 6. Recently, we experience the following:
1) after a user saves a file using MS Word/Excel, the user cannot save
again using the same name, a Windows error saying access denial comes up.
But the user can save the file under a different name.
2) At times, the accessing speed to Samba shares are very slow, taking
about 10/20 seconds before getting response.
Just wonder whether anyone has experience similar problem and how to
resolve the it.
Please send any reply to me directly.
Many thanks in advance.
Andrew Mak
