smbmount and NT GateWay

Hello!
I use version samba-2.2.0 under ReHat Linux 6.2
I create resurs of a server Novell on MS NT4.0 through GateWay. I give is
access to this resurs.
Connecting to NT through smbmount.
( such configuration is faster, than ncpmount)
Problem: If in the catalog Novell 256 files, on Linux 256 -Ok
If in the catalog Novell of files > 256, on Linux files-1 or files-n
For example: the catalog Novell 266 - > Linux 265
