Samba - slow browsing/folder opening

Had a chance to do a bit more checking on this.

When it comes to opening folders from a Windows box, the following is
noticed:
- Opening a folder with 3,300 small GIF files takes roughly 8 seconds
- Opening an empty folder takes roughly 4 seconds
