Auto Printer Driver Installation

Hi all

I've had a look around the docs etc and have seen how the current
auto printer driver installation (a la winnt server) needs to be setup to
work with samba as the print server. At the moment it is somewhat
clunky and only works for win95.

Can anyone provide any info on the status of this area of samba.
Is it being worked on at the moment for inclusion into the version 2.*
stream or is it a coming attraction in samba 3? Or is it on the back
burner altogether while the ntdom stuff is in progress?
