Please Help: samba-2.0.6 problem in RH6.1

You don't say, but if you were logged in as someone besides root the
./configure make make install sometimes doesn't work right (the make
install never works right :-). I'm not sure what makerpms.sh is, but once
again, if you're not logged in as root try it.
