I made the change Jason suggested but I think I nullified that change since
I also set
print command = cp %s /tmp/print.%f ; rm %s ; cp /tmp/print.%f /dev/lpt0 ;
rm /tmp/print.%f

Which is probably one `cp' more than is needed, but this appears to solve my
problem.  Thanks!

Given the responses I received, perhaps something about this should go into
the FAQ and or DIAGNOSING.txt?
