setup printer for samba LAN

Hi, all
 
  my system: redhat v5.1 (2.0.34) , samba-2.0.0beta4
my setup :
 
   1.printtool:  SAMBA printer: smb
   2.copy:       smb.init from usr/local/etc/samba-.0.0beta4/packaging/redhat/
                  to  /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb
   3.change file: /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb
                  daemon smbd -D   -->   daemon /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd -D
                  daemon nmbd -D   -->   daemon /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd -D
   4.not change file: /etc/services & /etc/inetd.conf

Before starting /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb, 
found:
    1.ps -ax found:  1234 ? S 0 /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd -D
                     5678 ? S 0 /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd -D
                     5681 ? S 0 /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd -D
    2.lpc status:    smb:\  no daemon present
    3.startx --> printtool said : "SAMBA is not install"

Install --> rpm -ivh samba-1.9.18p5-1.i386.rpm
but not found.
