Network Path could not be Found

hi... i have a samba server running on RedHat 5.0... with the latest Samba
release running... 1.9.18p5... the WinNT servers running on the network
can not see the samba server when double-clicking on the server name in
Network Neighbourhood... the message is something like... "The Network
Path could not be Found"... now... after Enabling DNS for Windows
Resolution... i can access the Samba Shares... i'm just wondering what i
have done to cause this situation... and also what would be an equivalent
option for Enabling DNS for Windows Resolution in OS/2 Warp 4.0..
