How to set Netscape enviroment on Samba home drive ?

Which version of Netscape are you referring to?  In netscape 3 you could
specify the lcoation of folders in the Options -> Mail & News
Preferences section.  In Netscape 4 I believe all associated files /
folders are stored in the directory for the current profile ( Netscape's
User Profile Manager stuff ).  You could create a default profile
pointing to M: and the use a 'root preexec = ' script to copy the
default profile to the user's home directory if it does not already
exist.
