spool file name length

Hello,

I want to increase the length of the spool file name
to have the full name of the client visible.

In samba 1.9.18p4 the name seems to be build from
the first 6 char of the client name, dot, 6 'random' chars.

Is there any reason for keeping the spool file name at
the present size? Will this change adversely affect other
part of samba. I found warning in the source about the
spool path length.
I did not found the very point in the source where the spool
filenames are created.
