we use lp as the guest account but only for printing.  The global 
guest account is set to nobody.  We set a specific guest account for

        print command = /usr/ucb/lpr -J%M -P%p %s; rm %s
        postscript = False
        path = /var/spool/samba
        min print space = 10000
        public = yes
        printable = yes
        browseable = yes
        comment = PC Lab Printers
        guest account = lp
        writable = no
