SAMBA stopped working

Well, my posted SMB.CONF does contain

   guest account = UCX$NOBODY

and that account's directory access is:

$ dir/sec SYS$SYSDEVICE:[000000]ucx$nobody

Directory SYS$SYSDEVICE:[000000]

UCX$NOBODY.DIR;1     [UCX$NOBODY]                     (RWE,RWE,,)

Also,

Directory SAMBA_ROOT:[000000]

TMP.DIR;1            [SYSTEM]                         (RWE,RWE,RE,RW)
          (DEFAULT_PROTECTION,SYSTEM:RWED,OWNER:RWED,GROUP:RW,WORLD:RW)

Of course, as I also already stated, Samba V2.2.8 was working not too long ago and, as the only system administrator, I didn't change anything.
