4.2rc2 and winbindd

So the latest version from git doesn't actually use winbindd , I thought 
that 4.2rc2 was basically a 'snapshot' of master and as such anything 
after that should be the same as 4.2rc2 with any updates/bugfixes 
applied. Obviously not, from what you are saying.
