git pull on our it-doesn't-matter-if-you-break-it test box.
  winbindd --version
Version 4.3.0pre1-GIT-6bbfb09
  samba --version
Version 4.3.0pre1-GIT-6bbfb09

calling samba does not start winbindd:(
