I suggest you place the pipe in 
${PREFIX}/var/run/nmbd

and name the option 'nmbd socket directory'

This will match what is done in Samba4 for the ntp_signd.

Alternately, ${PREFIX}/var/nmbd would match the pattern for the ncaclrpc
dir.
