Hi folks,

I've decided to start writing down the things I did to make Samba 4
happen during the last week. The main purpose is to get myself to
actually do my part in getting Samba 4 ready for a stable release.

The current installment can be found on my blog at
http://kblin.blogspot.com/2010/10/on-way-to-samba-4-week-42.html
where all the following status updates will go as well.

I'm sending this announcement to samba-technical in the hope that it's
interesting for some of you. Maybe some of the other developers will
also be able to find the time to give their take on the Samba 4 status
on a regular basis.

Cheers,
Kai
