write permission issue between Opnet IT Guru and Samba

Hi,

I am trying to debug a write permission issue between Opnet IT Guru 
Academic Edition and Samba. I have full r/w access to the share in 
question. When I test IT Guru Academic Edition with a share from WinXP 
everything work as expected, with Samba IT Guru report the following 
error, "The primary  model directory (Z:\op_models) cannot be written 
to. Attempts to save new models will fail until this problem is corrected."

Searching the mail lists returns the following related from

The only way I can make this work with Samba is to set the world write 
flag, just like the mailing list posting suggested.


Searching the bug reports returns nothing.


The only thing that shows up in the logs that raises a red flag is this 
following.

I am running on CentOS 4.6, Samba 3.5.6, with tdbsam backend.
