The bug is fixed in 3.2.8, and it is fixed in the v3-3-test
branch which means it will be fixed in the next 3.3 release (3.3.1
if no security release delays that one).

Pleas report what ultimate made configure fail.

Yes could you post the output of failing configure and the file config.log.
I suggest you open a bug report on https://bugzilla.samba.org/ on
this and assign it to me (obnox at samba.org).
