configure told me to report this

unfortunately, I forgot to mention, this was the latest, 3.3.0, that I 
was trying to configure.

since it aborted the configure at the end, I grabbed 3.2.8 and built 
that. I haven't got it set up to the point of trying it yet, but end of 
day yesterday I had completed the `gmake install`. There was another 
"Report this" that appeared on both configures, but it was not fatal. 
I'll see today how 3.2.8 works.

so, is there any other information you need from me regarding the 
failure to configure 3.3.0? I still have the output from that on a 
screen session and have not removed anything from that directory.
