I was just scoping the work. You right. It would require a
pretty major overhaul of nmbd. I was also hoping that the epm
support would not be necessary. I tested the NT4 wins admin
tool against an NT4 WINS server that had port 135 filtered.
The tool refused to work. The bottom line is that if you
want the remote wins tool to function at all, you have to
have a functional epm on port 135. And I also assume that you
must support the ncacn_ip_tcp transport.
