I think MS just did us (and themselves) a disservice.

So it's as I thought originally, Microsoft applying a security feature (or
in layman's terms, not knowing how to fix a bug in software that they
BORROWED from someone else, and improperly implemented) to the client, to
secure the server... i.e., not security, just nuisance.
