SAMBA 2.2.0 PDC / account expired

We are running samba 2.2.0 as pdc in our network (9x and win2k) when some
users try to use win2k shares win9x tells that the users account has
expired. Has anyone else had these kind of experiences and does anyone
know how to fix this problem?
