can't change password with smbpasswd

Hi.

I've compiled samba from cvs as PDC with -DALLOW_PASSWORD_CHANGE, in
smb.conf
encrypted_pass = yes
update_encrypted = yes

...and I can't change smb password with smbpasswd as normal user. I had to
make a mistake, but where?

system: gnu/lnx slack7, shadow password suite (shadow-19990607) by
