.net port

I guess this is my attempt to do so. It's open source, I'm just trying
to make sure that the right people are aware of it.

If it's open source, why don't you just make it available
on sourceforge.net (or similar), or give it to the rsync guys
to dump somewhere on rsync.samba.org?
