How about more, like this:
 Transferred 4 files, 18.6MB.  Scanned 23588 of 58394 files (49%).
 Current: /foo/bar/blech/bar/baz.c
 65% |*****************************              | 13849 KB    00:01

With all three lines updating frequently.
