EOF erors

Good point -- I'd failed to consider this.

Where would it be if there was?  I can't find one in my home directory.

Yes.  I can run CVS over it (via CVS_RSH=) quite successfully.

I get the same error message whether I use rsh or ssh.

I'll investigate this problem further today.
